The 10 species are all native to Africa, with 7 of them occurring in southern Africa.

Herbivores

Hippotion celerio (Silver Striped Hawkmoth)

Caterpillar have been recorded eating the leaves of Rhoicissus tomentosa and Rhoicissus tridentata.

Lepidoptera: Sphingidae (hawkmoths)
