One species is naturalised - Lilium formosanum (St Joseph’s lily, Trumpet lily, Formosa lily, Sintjosefslelie, Trompetlelie), which is a declared Category 3 invasive plant in South Africa. An additional seven species and at least one hybrid cultivated.
