Aphloia

About six species (Africa, Madagascar, Mascarene Islands) of which one, Aphloia theiformis, occurs in southern Africa.

 

Casearia

About 160 species (cosmopolitan in the tropics), of which one, Casearia gladiiformis, occurs in southern Africa (coastal forest of KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape).

 

Dovyalis

About 20 species (Africa to Sri Lanka to New Guinea), of which six occur in southern Africa.

 

Flacourtia

About 15 species (SE Asia, Malaysia, Polynesia, Madagascar, Africa), of which one, Flacourtia indica, occurs in southern Africa.

 

Gerrardina

The two species are native to Africa and both occur in southern Africa.

 

Homalium

About 180 species worldwide (tropics and subtropics), of which three occur in southern Africa.

 

Kiggelaria

One species: Kiggelaria africana (Wild peach)

 

Oncoba

Four species (tropical Africa, Arabian Peninsula), of which one, Oncoba spinosa, occurs in southern Africa.

 

Pseudoscolopia

One species: Pseudoscolopia polyantha, endemic to southern Africa (KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Western Cape).

 

Rawsonia

Two species (Africa), of which one, Rawsonia lucida, occurs in southern Africa.

 

Scolopia

About 37 species (Africa, Madagascar, Comores, Mascarenes, Malaysia and Australia) of which five are native to southern Africa.

 

Trimeria

Two of the five species are native to southern Africa.

 

Xylotheca

About 10 species (Africa, Madagascar) of which one, Xylotheca kraussiana, occurs in southern Africa.
