Comicus sp., photographed at Oranjemund, Namibia (photo. N. Larsen).
The most commonly encountered genus of this family in the Western Cape is Eremus.
They hide away by day under rocks on the ground and other places and come out at night.
They are usually found on plants and often go to the top of an upright branch where they
wave around their extremely long antennae.
